When e-mailing to request a commission, please describe your idea in detail. This allows me to promptly send you a price quote based on your preferred media, size, image complexity, and estimated time for completion. Generally speaking, commissions can take anywhere from 1 month to 6 months depending on my overall workload.
*If you need a piece completed by a specific deadline, please tell me BEFORE sending payment to make sure I will be able to complete your work in time. Very short deadlines (I.E. Full color multi-character piece with complex background due in 1 week) MAY increase price quotes, so keep this in mind and plan ahead.
Once the final price is accepted, I require 50% payment up front before I begin any work. This includes sketches! I prefer Paypal as it is fast and convenient for me, but if you can't do this than a mailing address will be provided for sending a check/MO.
Once your payment has been cleared, I will start sketches for your piece. All sketches will be sent to you for approval, and at this time you can make any necessary corrections and changes. Once I receive the OK that everything is correct, the piece will be inked and colored (if you've chosen this type of commission).
When the work is completely finished, you will receive an e-mail with a web-friendly scan and the rest of your payment will be requested, adding in shipping fees. The finished art will be mailed out to you within one week of receiving your final payment.
General Rules
* NO PORN (some minor sexual innuendo and nudity is acceptable; I reserve the right to decline any commission I feel is inappropriate, or to politely ask that you "tone down" your idea)
* If you receive an estimated "finish" date, please refrain from sending e-mails every day with "where's my art?", expecially if your estimated finish date is months away. If the due date comes and you have not received anything, than feel free to politely poke me and ask about your art.
* I don't charge extra for things like complex character design, or multiple sketch redraws. While tipping isn't required, if I end up doing extra work beyond what was originally agreed upon, it is much appreciated and makes for a happy artist to toss in a little extra.
